Regional Director of Field Services

PASNAP is currently searching for a Regional Director of Field Services to coordinate, deliver, and monitor field staff services to PASNAP members through the direct supervision of staff representatives and senior staff representatives/mentors.

Responsibilities include:
• Assess the ongoing work of the staff representatives and internal organizers and provide leadership and strategic guidance to ensure the successful implementation of organizational goals and objectives.
• In conjunction with the entire PASNAP executive team, plan, assess and allocate resources; monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of assigned resources and is a part of the hiring process for field staff.
• Ensure proper tracking and standardization of grievances, arbitrations, and Unfair Labor Practices.
• Monitor appropriate charting of locals to effectively assess each local’s strengths and weaknesses.
• In conjunction with Co-Executive Director, allocate staff resources to local campaigns and participate in annual evaluation of staff under direct supervision.
• Communicate with Local Leaders to ensure timely staff responsiveness to local issues and mobilizing needs.
• Review all demands for Arbitration and Unfair Labor Practice charges and make recommendations to staff and local Executive Boards.
• In conjunction with mentor, provide orientation to new field staff.
• Provide training to field staff as needed.
• In conjunction with staff and local leaders, develop clear goals in campaigns with concrete plans to achieve them, and make sure that post-campaign debriefs, and assessments are completed.
• Prepare field reports as requested by the Co-Executive Director.
• Provide, or make available to staff, training as needed or requested by staff including, but not limited to, conducting arbitrations, or unemployment compensation hearings, leading contract negotiations, and navigating the ULP process.
• Serve as a resource to Board Committees as requested

Qualifications:
• Background in supervisory and administrative responsibilities
• Minimum of eight (8) years demonstrated experience in enforcing collective bargaining agreements through and including arbitrations, unfair labor practices and other statutory and regulatory remedies.
• Experience in contract negotiations in the private and/or public sector.
• Frequent evening and weekend work, as well as travel statewide is required.
• Responsible for understanding and complying with, and administering, as needed, all relevant PASNAP policies.

Salary: $125K
